MOUTH works closely with communities and partners to ensure all its initiatives comply with humane and ethical standards of practice. It only supports farm and research projects where the chickens are able to live free-range. The chickens are vaccinated in line with local law and global best practice, and are free from drugs and antibiotics.

 

Purebred chickens are sourced from certified breeders and transported in accordance with local import regulations and national health food safety agency requirements.

The Cosmopolitan Chickens are never killed for art, research or meat. They are used for taxidermy only after dying a natural death.
